Details: This is the 1998 CD release of the self titled debut from TRANSISTOR SOUND & LIGHTING CO. They were a Canadian band who played alternative rock with a slight punk vibe. Kinda like taking elements of indie rock a la GBV & Pavement and then amping it up with a Nirvana’ish slacker guitar vibe. Back in the day the video for Anyways/Mayonnaise had regular rotation on Canadian music TV channel Much Music. Underground band from Canada that had a short life span, but is well worth exploring.
